With what it does say seems to lean to its goal of becoming bigger in flame.There is more than one instance of SCP-457.It will go to things that will increase its flame and have more fuel.Things like water/extinguisher can alter the flame causing a decrease. It is aware of its flame decrease trying to escape it,which can be a way to force a container to allow its containment.This scp is hostile to humans so it can be fuel for its flame.
